Eligibility

Medical students may submit, and UK- or Ireland-based medical students and Foundation Year doctors can request bursary consideration with their abstract. The general abstract rules say a medical-student presenter must be an FY1 by the conference, while the bursary section allows students without GMC registration to attend as non-HCPs with restricted access; applicants should confirm presentation eligibility. Successful applicants must be available for 10–11 May 2027.

Cost

Abstract submission is free. Accepted presenting authors must register and pay unless supported by a bursary.

Funding

Ten medical-student/Foundation Year bursaries provide free registration and up to £250 toward travel and accommodation; bursary consideration is requested within the abstract submission.
